Tamarindo is a funky little surf town and as you might expect it is filled with funky little shops. The omnipresent souvenir shops are fun to browse if you are looking for a keepsake. However, between the t-shirt and pottery vendors there are some nifty stores that you will want to explore. Papaya con Leche is a shop featuring high end, sexy, vibrant beachwear. European owner/designer Kata Kis custom makes her swimsuits to give her clients the perfect fit. Lolita’s is a vintage clothing shop located in the food court across from Plaza Conchal in the center of Tamarindo. Lolita’s owner Adriana Sanahuja always seems to be ahead of the curve with vintage inspired creations. EK art jewelry is located in the center of Tamarindo a few meters before the Tamarindo rotunda. The Argentinian owners are true craftsman creating works of art from fossils, polished sea glass, colorful stones, seashells and other beautiful articles discarded by the sea. Their passion shines through in each of the unique pieces that they create.
